Terms & Conditions for Events

Introduction

Welcome to ParadoXx. By attending our events, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These are intended to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Definitions

  • “Event”: Any gathering organized by ParadoXx, including theme nights, workshops, and private events.
  • “Participant”: Anyone attending our events.

Use of Services

  • All participants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Respect towards all guests, staff, and the ParadoXx property is required.
  • Illegal activities or behavior violating our policies will result in immediate expulsion and potential legal action.

Reservations and Payments

  • Reservations for events must be made in advance, with payment required upon booking.
  • All event bookings may be invoiced upon request.

Event Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before the event: Eligible for a full refund minus an administrative fee, or you may rebook to another event at no additional cost.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the event: Non-refundable.
  • Special event editions (such as Christmas, Halloween, New Year’s Eve, …): For special event editions, a stricter cancellation policy applies:
    Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.

Code of Conduct

  • Consent is mandatory for all activities.
  • Respect for all participants, staff, and ParadoXx property is required.
  • No Smoking is allowed inside; smoking is only permitted outdoors, with capes provided for your comfort.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and clean up after yourself.
  • Respect for neighbors is required, which includes keeping noise levels low when leaving the venue.

All-Inclusive Formula

Our all-inclusive formula covers normal use of drinks and bites provided during events. Overconsumption or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Participants are expected to consume responsibly and maintain a respectful atmosphere.

Prohibition on Removal of Materials

It is strictly prohibited to remove any materials, equipment, or other property from the venue. Any attempt to take items from the premises will be considered theft and may lead to legal action, along with the responsibility to cover full replacement costs.

Loss of Keys

In the event of a lost door key, a fee of €100 will be charged, and a fee of €20 will be applied for a lost locker key. Any additional costs for replacing locks or cards will be the responsibility of the Participant.

Privacy and Data Protection

ParadoXx is committed to your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle personal data during events.

Use of WiFi

The WiFi connection at the premises is for normal use only, such as accessing email, social media, or business communications. It is prohibited to use the WiFi for illegal activities, heavy downloads, or bandwidth-intensive applications without prior approval from ParadoXx. Misuse of the WiFi may result in immediate termination of the service and a fine of €50. If illegal activities are detected, the police will be notified.

Private Kitchen Cabinets

All materials, food, and drinks stored in the kitchen cabinets are considered private property and may not be used by event Participants or their guests. Only items explicitly designated for use during the event are available.

Liability

ParadoXx is not liable for any personal injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in our events. Participants assume all associated risks and are responsible for their own actions, safety, and consent.

Liability for Damages

The attendee/participant is fully responsible for any damage caused to the venue or any equipment during the event. In the event that damage is identified, the attendee/participant will be charged the full cost of repair or replacement.

Respect for House Rules

If the attendee/participant fails to comply with the house rules during an event, ParadoXx reserves the right to immediately remove the attendee/participant from the event and prohibit their future attendance at any events, workshops, or private bookings held at the location.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

ParadoXx reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued attendance at events signifies acceptance of these updates.
